Psalm 91: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”

Pray that we will live in dependence on the One who saves our souls.

Pray for the last week of school – that God will show His power.

Pray for strength for our students to finish strongly.

Pray for Dodi and her Summer plans.

May 31 – June 6

Psalm 6:8-9, “Depart from me all you who do wicked, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weaping. The Lord has heard my supplication and receives my prayer.”

Pray for integrity among our students.

Pray that God reveals His listening ears to those who cry out to Him.

Pray that in the last days of school, our students will remain firm in Christ.

May 24 – May 30

Psalm 24: 3-4, “Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not set his mind on what is false…”

Pray that we would have clean hands, that we would grasp a hold of forgiveness and grace and accept our place as God’s beloved.

Pray for our students as they finish the school year.

Pray for Dodi, that summer YoungLife plans would be smooth.

Pray for the YoungLife camps now, that God would prepare the hearts of those that will be there.

May 17 – May 23

Psalm 1 – “How blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! His delight is in the law of the Lord.”

Let’s pray that God will bless our students with wisdom and knowledge today. That they would know what is right and what is wrong. That they would know where to stand.

Pray for Andi and Dodi and Emerson on their trip.

Pray for our leaders as they work for the Lord.

Pray for the teachers and administration as they stare down the last weeks of school.

Pray that God law will still be relevant to those that seek Him.

May 10 – May 17

Matthew 8:3 – “Jesus, stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Pray for a cleansing of our pain.

Pray that our students will see that God is willing to touch them with mercy – pray our students receive mercy.

Pray for our YoungLife leaders, as they act as the hands and feet of Jesus – pray that healing will be in their hands.

Pray that we learn to accept the help of God – Pray that God removes the hurt and pain that keeps us from Him.

May 3 – May 9

Psalm 34:4-5 – “I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant with joy.”

Pray that the joy of God will rise within us.

Pray for the seniors, that joy would be evident in this stage of their lives.

Pray for those who help with Young Life, that they would see joy enacted within us.

Pray for the teachers and administrators of the school, that joy would flow out of them in the form of knowledge.

Pray for Dodi, that she finds rest in vacation.

Pray for the remaining time in school, that we would seek the Lord and be filled with joy because of that search.

April 26 – May 2

Ezra 9:5 – “But at the evening offering I arose from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn, and I fell on my knees and stretched out my hands to the Lord my God…”

Pray that we can rise from the ashes like Ezra did. Though it may seem we are wounded and dead, we will rise to meet our Christ.

Pray for Dodi, fighting an illness this week.

Pray for Andy as he leads in Dodi’s temporary absence.

Pray for our Young Life leaders, as they re-gear up from spring break.

Pray for our kids, as they prepare for the summer.

April 19-25

Jonah 2:2: Jonah prayed, ‘I called out of my distress to the Lord and He answered me…”

Pray that God hears the cries of the hurting. Pray that God’s response to those in pain includes our path.

Pray for the students as they begin the last 8 weeks of school.

Pray for Dodi as she plans her summer activities.

Pray for camp experiences, that they will point to the Lord.

April 12-18

In Acts 23:11, Jesus says, “Take courage, for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.”

Let’s pray for those on vacation, that God will fill them with rest for the day.

Pray that our youth will be diligent about witnessing for God here, and in the Romes of the world.

Pray that God will move in this town through the Young Life group as well as the churches in the area.

Pray for rest and strength for Dodi, as she continues lifting her child to the Lord.

Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not calamity to give you a future and a hope.”

Pray for Dodi as she tells the students in our community about the plans God has for them.

Pray for our leaders as they connect the dots in the plans of God.

Pray for our teachers and administration, that they are part of God’s plan for students.

Pray a prayer of praise for Emerson Claire, for God has plans for all of us.
